The thing about being in a leadership position is that you have no choice but to lead by example--if you say one thing and do another, people will learn from what you're doing. All you can do if those two things are not consistent is to destroy your credibility.

So man is it frustrating to have politicians lecturing us about limiting unnecessary travel and restricting the size of our social gatherings while making exceptions for hockey games (big money in those) and their own vacations.

So, I've got a flight coming up in a bit. But I can guarantee I'm going to be taking fewer personal trips than Trudeau.
